We are conducting a targeted search for a CISSP certified professional to work with our client in Charlotte, NC. The pay rate for this position is $50-$72/hour W-2 all inclusive of per diem. There is no relocation assistance or expense reimbursement available. This is a 12+ month renewable contract position.

Provides support and contributes to the on-going strategy of the NERC CIP Compliance program to meet regulatory and company requirements.
Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of cyber security compliance controls, regulatory matters, security, business applications and/or critical infrastructure. Provides support and/or project management towards consultation, interpretation, administration, and implementation of contractual, regulatory, and reliability documents. Composes responses to legal and regulatory inquiries. Knowledgeable and proficient in use of tools and procedures for the NERC CIP program.
Serves as an interface between team members, business units, support groups, corporate areas, contractors, and vendors to ensure appropriate communication and problem resolution. · Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and at least 2 years of any of the following experiences: cyber security, IT Security, IT auditing, IT compliance, IT infrastructure, regulatory compliance or related experience. Or, at least 6 years of any of the following experiences: cyber security, IT security, IT auditing, IT compliance, IT infrastructure, regulatory compliance or related experience. Demonstrated good listening skills and ability to put forth the effort to understand others points of view.
Ability to form a point of view and concisely present point of views. Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with a high degree of integrity. · Preferred Skills and Experience: CISSP Certification, Project Management experience in cyber security or regulatory compliance, Experience with NIST cyber security standards. All qualified candidates must be willing to work W-2 and pass a drug/background check per our client's human resources policies.
