Planning, directing, and overall operation of the assigned area. Provides direction and supervision to assigned staff. Coordinates and ensures that all scheduled patients for Outpatient Imaging Procedures/services have been pre-registered, had their insurance authorization/verifications completed, and self pay financial management functions are performed accurately and efficiently. Interacts with hospital administration; ancillary department directors; and physicians/physicians office staff to provide appropriate services to patients; families; and other hospital departments.

Develops and maintains outpatient referrals at ODC Wellington Regional Medical Center. Responsibilities include calling on new clients to make them aware of all the services available, identifying and visiting new physicians that do not currently refer to WRMC. Recommend and help develop new services for clients. Coordinate and as needed, participate in the delivery of onsite services; open house events; coordinate and participate in educational programs for the benefit of clients and any other responsibilities requested by management.

Maintain and provide technical and management support for all components of the radiology system environments and their associated hardware and software including modalities, workstations, servers, storage, databases, etc.
Assists customers and IT teams in testing, analysis and problem solving system functions and applications relating to Radiology. Responsible for maintaining communications with Director of Radiology, Physicians and IT personnel for ongoing issues and changes as well as building strategic direction.


Bachelor’s degree in a related health-care discipline or information systems discipline is preferred.
Graduation from an approved school of radiologic technology, Registration by the American Registry of radiologic technologists, Licensed as a General Radiographer by the State of Florida HRS.
Three or more years experience as Radiologic Technologist.
1 – 3 years supervisory and/or Marketing experience required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail oriented and organizational skills required.
