University of Florida College of Medicine ( UFCOM ), Department of Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine Division is recruiting for a full-time physician, non-tenure or tenure track, faculty title Assistant/Associate/Professor. Duties will include working as the Program Director for the Pain Division at 39th Avenue within Addiction Medicine providing inpatient pain and addiction medicine consultation services at Vista Rehab, Shands at UF, the primary teaching hospital of UFCOM , and outpatient, inpatient and residential evaluation and treatment of complex patients at Springhill Clinic, UF and Shands at Vista. This position will serve a critical role in the clinical, teaching, and scholarly life of the Department and the College of Medicine. Candidate will be involved with teaching, mentoring, and training residents, fellows, and medical students in an academic environment.
A post-offer health assessment is required.
Minimum requirements for this position are ASAM and/or aaaP certified M.D. or D.O. applicants who are Board Certified in Pain, Addiction Medicine, Psychiatry , Anesthesia or another Medical Specialty and able to obtain and secure a Florida Medical License are encouraged to apply.
