Must have mimimum 1 year experience in an acute care hospital as a PCT/CNA.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct patient care under the supervision of the RN based on the guidelines of the Colorado Nurse Aide Practice Act. Performs basic nursing skills and patient personal care. As unit secretary coordinates clerical functions of the unit. Transcribes physician orders, maintains patient charts, orders supplies.
A. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current Colorado certification as Nursing Assistant. Current BCLS certification.
B. Experience: 1-2 year’s acute care experience desirable
C. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Demonstrates good organizational skills. Performs procedures safely and
accurately within standards of practice. Displays appropriate judgment and problem solving skills. Communicates positively and professionally with all internal and external customers. Maintains patient confidentiality.
