Job Description:
Lead and direct the daily activities of the CNC team, assisting individuals with establishing their growth and training objectives and continuously monitoring and evaluating their progress toward achieving these goals; define, establish, and enforce standards, guidelines, tools and processes as applicable for the CNC team; ensure the CNC team is trained and proficient; CNC administration, security setup, and support for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne on an AS400 platform; performance tuning of applications and web servers using Server Manager to analyze kernel processes and obtain log file for detailed analysis; set up Object Configuration Manager; design and Installation within the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Architecture including Configuration, Upgrades, Package Management, Applying ESU’s, Tools Release’s, OMW management, JAS installation and troubleshooting; perform data conversion using EnterpriseOne tools; lead technical architecture for EnterpriseOne web server and deployment/installation server in AS/400; install OS/400 software updates; maintain system backup and recovery processes; test disaster recovery plans as related to JD Edwards and iSeries systems; design and implement highly available infrastructure solutions using iTera for AS/400 systems; monitor and troubleshoot issues related to JD Edwards EnterpriseOne; monitor and troubleshoot issues related to Citrix and JDE web servers; take initiative to solve issues within authority level.

Responsibilities:
Position Responsibilities

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer information systems, or foreign equivalent, plus 5 years progressive experience to include configurable network computing (CNC) administration, security, and support for PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne 8.9, Unicode Data Base, on an AS400 platform; setting up and managing BRMS for backup and recovery; performing AS400 Administration; performing software installations and upgrades, IBM upgrades and PTF maintenance; resolving problems related to connectivity, printers, servers, and file transfers remotely and between AS400’s (FTP); monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues with scheduled batch jobs; responsible for CL and RPG programming; and determining which problems need to be escalated to next level.
