Customer Business Partner II
The Customer Business Partner conducts joint business planning with the customer's Category Managers, buyers and other key customer contacts to drive volume and profit growth for Kimberly-Clark categories. This role is responsible for implementing Kimberly-Clark brand strategies and tactics with the customer by reaching out to the key decision makers. The Customer Business Partner must manage customer relationships, category management, business planning and trade management utilizing cross-functional resources and data sources.
The position is located in New Jersey and reports to the Business Development Manager. The incumbent will be responsible for the knowledge of assigned Kimberly-Clark Personal Care products and categories (Baby Care, Adult Care, Feminine Care), internal and external sales, marketing data, and consumer trends, and the knowledge and application of sales policies and procedures.
Customer Business Partners must independently set priorities and proactively identify issues; identifying underlying problems and evaluating cause/effect relationships as well as the magnitude of situations; identifying potential solutions and developing a plan of action utilizing resources as necessary. Incumbents are expected to independently assemble business plans, test scenarios and analyze the plan for reasonableness before submission. Incumbents must independently manage the business plan during the period, knowing the financial position at all times, reconciling and communicating changes.
Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree and valid driver’s license. Proficiency in customer management typically developed through at least 3-5 years of progressively more responsible experience in Customer Development/Customer Facing roles. Demonstrated fact based selling to positively influence decision makers. Solid knowledge of PC based applications (MS WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint). Candidate must have strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and experience presenting to all levels of an organization. Must be a self-starter and problem solver.
