Global Pricing and Revenue Management plays a pivotal role in striking the appropriate balance between growing coverage, growing our premium and growing overall discount revenue. Our mission is to identify and guide improvements in value delivered to merchants and then to help the sales and account management teams price based on value delivered, thereby optimizing coverage, net merchant revenue and competitive revenue premium.
Roles within our Global Pricing & Revenue Management teams include managing (setting, supporting and forecasting) all value-driven merchant revenue streams to maximize the strategic value of the Amex Premium network, determining our global pricing strategy, leading competitive intelligence on association, issuer and acquirer/processor pricing as well as discount rate forecasts and financial analyses.
Our well-established Summer Intern Program will provide high-performing MBA students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in projects that have strategic, operational or financial significance to the company. Interns will meet line of business and Finance leaders from all levels and have a chance to learn about the culture and values of the organization as well as network across regions and functions.
