The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry is seeking a full-time Campaign Manager to work through May 31, 2017. This position provides staff support behind the scenes to ensure campaign activities are completed and cabinet members and top professional leaders supported. This position manages the campaign process and facilitates the work of volunteers and top professional leaders to apply their time most strategically in donor cultivation and solicitation. The Campaign Manager also carries a personal portfolio of up to 40 major donor prospects (each rated at $5,000 or higher).

Ideal candidate will have, but not limited to, the ability to exercise initiative and good judgment in anticipating problems before they arise, ability to work under pressure with flexibility, demonstrated knowledge of Raisers Edge donor database system and Microsoft Office programs, demonstrated excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication and customer service skills to work effectively with people of diverse talents and backgrounds, excellent process management and writing skills, ability to work well with top-level community volunteers and professional leaders, and ability to adapt and innovate systems for capturing and tracking information and activities to ensure the fundraising process moves forward efficiently. Candidate must also have a minimum three years of experience in fundraising or project management, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education, minimum 4 years of progressive program management, including staff supervision, multiple project management, and budget responsibility, minimum 1 year of experience working with the public, formal and informal settings, minimum 5 years of development experience, preferably raising major gifts ($5,000+), basic knowledge of capital campaign giving best practices, a valid driver's license, and must pass pre-employment and/or pre-duty checks, such as criminal background check, reference checks, requirements in the MVR Policy including passing Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check and Alcohol & Drug Test for non-CDL Drivers Policy, including pre-duty drug test.

Pay Rate: $47,039 – 59,975 per year.
