Capco, a Consulting Magazine “Best Firms to Work For,” (2012) is rapidly expanding our footprint in North America and have an immediate need for a Technology Recruiter.

This is a 2-3-month temporary assignment which offers a competitive salary and medical benefits. Depending on business needs, there may be the opportunity for an extension of the initial temporary assignment term or the option for conversion to full-time employment.

Our Recruiters are at the forefront of Capco's growth. They are key players in our expansion throughout North America and manage the full lifecycle recruitment process while partnering with the business in formulating practice growth strategy, candidate assessment tools, and process optimization techniques. This is a high visibility, high impact spot, where your efforts will significantly improve our practices capabilities in the financial services industry.

The role will be based at Capco’s North American headquarters in Downtown Manhattan and will required a commitment of 40 hours a week on-site. The CapM & IT Recruiter will be responsible for full cycle recruiting of a broad range of roles, across all levels (entry to more senior roles), including, but not limited to:

Architects

Business Analysts

Testers

Project Managers

Systems Analysts

Programmers

Database Administrators

Transaction Lifecycle Process Improvement

Operations

o Front Office (sales, order management, pre-trade compliance and analytics, trading, securities lending)

o Middle Office Operations (allocations, trade configuration and enrichment, post-trade compliance, risk management, regulatory compliance and control, performance calculations, attribution services)

o Back Office (trade operations, transfer agency, clearance and settlement processing, asset servicing, custody, client reporting, BCM/infrastructure)

Business Transformation

The incumbent can expect to work on 20-30 open requisitions simultaneously (with many of the roles entailing the same skill set) in fast paced, demanding, and fluid environment. The CapM & IT Recruiter will source, assess, negotiate and close new candidates, and work closely with the US Recruiting Team to ensure we are delivering best practices, processes and top notch candidates to our internal client teams. Strong direct sourcing skills (LinkedIn, cold calling, etc.) are required.

Candidates must have at least 5 years of full cycle recruiting Capital Markets and IT Recruitment experience.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily responsibilities for assigned requisitions in high volume environment with incredible attention to detail, teamwork/collaboration, timely follow-up and regular reporting

Source and identify active and passive candidates for open positions through various channels including Internet job boards, Boolean/Internet data research, resume databases, associations, networking, etc.

Evaluate candidates’ resumes against job requirements and qualify candidates through detailed interviews and assessing skills and technical abilities

Leverage employee referrals and ensure timely communication and follow-up

Manage real-time candidate status in Applicant Tracking System

Contribute to the development of creative sourcing strategies to build appropriate pipelines (immediate, near- and long-term) to meet hiring goals

Maintain reports and communicate candidate status on a regular basis

List job postings on job boards, social media, corporate career website, etc.

Partner with recruitment coordinators to ensure timely scheduling of interviews, interview days, candidate feedback and follow-up

Ensure a best in class candidate experience with timely follow-up and communication

Ensure that all recruiting is conducted within legal parameters and company policy

Promote and maintain a positive image of Capco

Prepare and debrief candidates as required

Collaborate across Recruiting Team, think broadly about bigger picture and overall requirements; share candidates, knowledge, and best practices; ensure alignment with supply/demand, timing of hires, and other relevant matters

Ensure standardization and consistency HC practices and policies

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Additional Requirements/Attributes

BS or BA Degree required

5 years’ minimum of full cycle Capital Markets and IT recruiting

Strong financial services background, specifically in Capital Markets

Experience recruiting for professionals within Money Markets; Currencies and FX; Fixed Income; Asset Backed Securities (MBS, CDO, etc.); Equities; Futures; Options; Commodities, Derivatives (Credit and/or Rate)

Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Solid candidate follow-up and commitment to the candidate experience

Proficiency in various sourcing techniques

Experience within a management consulting or professional services organization is highly desirable

Strong understanding of market trends and emerging technologies

Strong technical skills, including advanced to expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word

A consummate “team player” who builds highly effective professional relationships and has the ability to effectively work with and communicate across all levels of an organization

Ability to effectively operate and excel in a highly visible and accountable position with increasing responsibilities
