Appropriately recognize/communicate changes in patient cardiac rhythm through uninterrupted visual observation of Central Station Cardiac Monitoring equipment.
High school graduate or equivalent.
One year prior experience in a health care setting involving knowledge of cardiac dysrhythmia is preferred.
Individuals with no prior experience must successfully complete a Monitor Technician credentials program (80 hour course).
Able to sit, concentrate and avoid distraction for the duration of the work shift.
Achieve Monitor Technician credentials.
