The University of Arizona, Department of Medicine, is seeking a highly qualified cardiologist who would like to pursue additional one year training in Transplant and Heart Failure Cardiology. The successful candidate will have completed 3 years of general cardiology training at an ACGME accredited program. The program offers one- year heart failure training in the inpatient and clinic settings, which include hospital management of heart failure patients, pre-and post-transplant evaluation and therapy, cardiac biopsy, management of patients with mechanical circulatory support, and outpatient disease management. The fellow will have the opportunity to participate in outpatient clinics including heart failure clinic, cardiac transplant clinic, mechanical circulatory support clinic, valve clinic, and adult congenital heart disease clinic. Duties and Responsibilities

- Provide cardiology inpatient and outpatient care * Participate in clinical aspects of the Cardiology Division * Perform research that is related to Cardiology * Initiate new and innovative research programs * Perform academic responsibilities with patient care and education * Perform all duties of a staff cardiologist

- M.D. Degree * ABIM Board Certified in Internal Medicine * BC/BE in Cardiology
