This is a part-time (25 hours/week) position located at the Spencer Campus. Primary responsibilities are developing and implementing various training programs for different segments of business in the area.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES (% OF TIME)
Develop and implement certificate programs for business, law enforcement, banking, real estate and insurance professionals.
Develop and implement training programs with area companies.
Locate and recommend instructors for various classes.
Develop new and coordinate existing GAP programs.
Promote and support National Career Readiness Certificate partnership development.
Establish, monitor and maintain realistic budgets throughout the year.
Maintain appropriate records to document progress for reports.
Apply for state approval for those programs requiring licensure.
Locate and arrange facilities for classes.
Maintain appropriate communications with customers, instructors, administrators and staff.
Market programs to ensure adequate enrollments.
Establish advisory committees as needed.
Collaborate and implement Encore College activities.
Provide career coaching to individuals who meet PACE program guidelines.
Partner with other state and federal agencies to assist underserved and low-income populations explore career opportunities and workforce skill enhancement.
Serve on selected and voluntary committees of the college.
Arrange and/or attend meetings when necessary.
Conduct surveys to assess consumer needs and program effectiveness.
Conduct community awareness programs to advertise services.
Perform other work duties as assigned and requested.

Sedentary to light work. Position involves sitting most of the time; exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally (10-33%). Stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, and carrying occasionally (10-33%). Walking, lifting, grasping and repetitive motion frequently (34-66%). Talking, hearing, and viewing various types of close visual work constantly (67-100%). Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record and provide proof of insurance. Required to travel utilizing personal vehicle.

Bachelor’s Degree in a related area required. Prior experience in educational program development or instruction is preferred.
SALARY: $17.09 per hour
