This position requires excellence in clinical case management service delivery including crisis coverage and emergency intervention, the facilitation of on-campus and external referrals, treatment planning and coordination of care. The Counseling and Wellness Services ( CWS ) Case Manager is administratively responsible through the Associate Director for Clinical Services to the Director of Counseling and Wellness Services. S he should be professionally licensed or license eligible to practice social work or equivalent degree in the State of North Carolina. This position will be responsible for monitoring students who have been given stipulations by the Office of the Dean of Students Emergency Evaluation and Action Committee ( EEAC ), and is critical to efforts to address and support the on-going needs of students and to promote their personal and academic success. It is expected that this position effectively collaborate and consult with students, faculty, staff, parents families, as well as other colleagues.

Educational Requirements
Graduation from an approved Masters program in social work or equivalent degree in mental health practice.

Qualifications and Experience
Board eligibility for licensure by the North Carolina Board of Social Work or equivalent licensure board. Full licensure is expected. Individual must have: current knowledge in depth of his her field and its standards of practice; commitment to the practice of quality mental health services including a commitment to human value in that practice; special interest in the University setting and the processes of maturation which occur during college years, undergraduate and graduate; ability to work with other professional staff and support staff to produce integrated professional services; understanding of issues of diversity with demonstrated leadership and effectiveness in promoting respect and appreciation for diversity and pluralism among students and staff; ability to utilize technology in the delivery of student programs.
