GED/High School Diploma, Associates degree preferred
The Cash Receipts Specialist functions as an important part of the Cash Management Team. This team member is responsible for applying payments, posting denials and reconciling EFT’s (Electronic Funds Transfer) and Remittance Advice.
Essential Job Functions: Compiles and accurately posts all payments, denials and adjustments per remittance advice. Investigate and remedy exceptions in the cash posting process. Performs other cash application or receivable related duties as assigned.
Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team: Ability to work in a flexible way that allows for changes in assignments and priorities depending upon identified needs of the department. Outstanding organizational, time management, customer service and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work accurately and meet deadlines with frequent interruption. Demonstrates ongoing enthusiasm and commitment to the work assigned. Follows all ESUCP procedures as appropriate to position.
