- Compute or re-compute bills, itemized lists, and tickets showing amount due
- Make change, verify checks, and issue receipts or tickets to customers
- Operate cash register by passing price coded items across electronic scanner to record price, compile price, compiles printed list,
and display cost of customer purchase, tax, and rebates on a monitor screen.
If you have strong customer service skills, the ability to deal with diverse people effectively, and work well in a deadline driven environment, this may be the job for you!
Qualifications
At least a high school diploma and 6 months of comparable experience is required, or some combination of education and experience.
