The Center Manager is responsible to run day-to-day operations for one of our retail locations. This job posting is not for corporate UPS but a local small business franchise. The candidate is required to perform all of the normal duties of our current full and part time assoicates. He / She is required to open and close the center, manage productivity and world-class customer service delivery of the team, monitor cost control and expenses, and provide weekly and monthly reports to the management team. The Center Manager is ultimately accountable for profit/loss, continuous improvement, service delivery levels, personnel management, and business development. The owner requires outstanding organizational and communication skills. The ideal Center Manager candidate has a post high school education (college coursework or degree), 2+ years retail store operations and management experience, strong supervisory/managerial/leadership skills, excellent computer/Internet/software knowledge, the physical ability to perform this job (lifting, bending, etc.), and knows how to 'listen and lead'. He/She will have a dynamic personality, an attention to detail, and can motivate a team to optimize performance. The candidate must be able to multitask in a fast paced and demanding environment. Candidate must have reliable transportation with a valid, unrestricted drivers license and current insurance.

The following is a representative list of the duties and responsibilities associated with this position:

-- Perform all duties of a full time associate to include but not limited to, packaging and shipping, copying and printing, sorting and filing mail, processing and filing claims, etc.
-- Average of 40-45 hrs/week
-- Perform personnel management of associate team
-- Schedule work assignments
-- Monitor, evaluate, and maximize customer service delivery and customer satisfaction
-- POS Systems, microsoft office systems experience preferred
-- Review daily employee time sheets and submit for payroll processing
-- Manage Center maintenance including cleanliness, safety, and organization
-- One week paid vacation chosen by the associate and a second week of paid vacation is observed through national holidays the store is closed
-- Vacations cannot be taken in December as this is our busy season
