The Private Client Banker is responsible for managing full-service banking relationships while delivering a superior service experience to a portfolio of affluent clientele. As the main point of contact for the client, the Banker's primary responsibility is to generate growth in the client's balances through the recommendation and referral of products across business lines utilizing a proactive and disciplined approach. A successful Banker will be expected to contribute to acquisition of new clients by actively soliciting referrals and developing internal and external sources.
As the banker serves as the clients' personal advocate at Chase, areas of focus will include, but are not limited to:
Actively managing the banking relationship and ensuring the client receives the best products, services and rates for his or her needs
Delivering an advice-based approach to product recommendations
Deepening relationships with clients by:
Demonstrating a team based approach in conjunction with a JPM Investment Advisor, to delivering our investment capabilities and identifying opportunities to bring new suitable money into the JPMorgan Investment Portfolio
Working with internal business partners to cross-market and promote Chase financial services and products such as home equity, mortgage, and small business where appropriate
This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008. As such, upon active employment with JPMorgan Chase, you will be required to either register on NMLS or re-register and move your previous registration to JPMorgan Chase's registration rolls. Your continued employment in this position with JPMorgan Chase is contingent upon successful registration immediately after your start date and annual renewal of your registration thereafter. Minimum of two years as a Personal Banker or equivalent with verifiable success in new client acquisition, revenue generation and meeting targets
Experience deepening relationships with affluent customers is preferred
Series 6/7, Series 63/67(in states where required,) life licenses REQUIRED
Public Notary (can be obtained subsequent to hire)
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrated success using a Relationship-oriented approach to selling
Experience applying a value-added, needs-based selling approach
Strong team orientation with a commitment of long-term career growth with the firm
College degree preferred or High school degree/GED or foreign equivalent
Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings
