Perform bench assignments involving all phases of analytical research and development activities. Assist in developing and validating analytical methods.
Perform job functions in accordance with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), federal and state laws, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines, health authority regulations, and departmental processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform general instrumental analysis.
Assist in the development and validation of analytical methods. Conduct validation of analytical methods.
Assist with instrument calibrations and maintenance.
Calculate, check, and/or review analytical data.
Draft protocols, technical reports, Standard Operating Procedures and Standard Test Methods (STM).
Conduct literature searches and compile data for group meetings.
Perform stability and release testing using existing methods (STM).
May work on analytical projects under detailed supervision.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Must possess knowledge of analytical methods, chemistry principles and personal computers.
Must adhere to Company and Department policies and procedures as well as government regulations. Requires understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must possess good communication, time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Must possess competent computer skills including; Microsoft Word, Excel and Lotus Notes.
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree one year of experience. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
