REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES: (Incumbents may perform any combination of the essential functions shown below. Duties may vary from time to time. Effectively perform chemical analysis techniques.
Assist senior staff with advanced chemical analysis techniques.
Accurately record and report data.
Assist with production activities as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Maintain clean and orderly assigned area(s).
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED BY POSITION
Knowledge of basic laboratory practices, methods and techniques to perform a variety assignments.
Reading and writing English communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE:
Independently manage time to achieve the company's tactical and strategic goals
Evaluate and understand business priorities and adjust level of effort in order to accomplish tasks on schedule
Demonstrate flexibility in responding to changing priorities
Contribute to the company's continuous improvement efforts
Carry out instructions from senior staff.
Work effectively with computer software and hardware, including analytical instrument, spreadsheet and word processing applications
Read, interpret and apply RTC policies and procedures.
Carry out work assignments communicated orally or in writing.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with relevant RTC staff.
Bachelors degree in Chemistry.
Laboratory environment requiring the ability to carry out laboratory operating procedures in a safe manner, while maintaining a clean an orderly workspace.
