Reporting to the CEO of Summit Medical Group, this is an executive level position that requires innovative healthcare delivery with strategic acumen.
The Chief Information Officer (CIO), as a key member of the management team, is required to bring to the table a high degree of expertise, entrepreneurial experience and the ability to envision innovative solutions to the complex challenges of the healthcare marketplace. The CIO will develop, lead, and direct health information solutions for a multi-site, decentralized operation. The CIO will provide the leadership, project management experience and change-management expertise necessary to ensure that Summit has the proper processes, applications and systems to optimize the Companys information technology environment and to realize the full potential of ongoing investments in IT systems and services.
Central to this role is building positive and lasting relationships among Summit business units and its stakeholders in order to maximize the impact of IT collaborations across the Company.
The successful candidate will hold a Bachelors degree; a graduate degree is highly desirable.
Candidates must possess the technology vision and business savvy required to match technology opportunities to business needs and to prioritize initiatives strategically; a strong operational orientation; a commitment to customer-service; leadership presence; and strong project direction and execution skills.
The top Candidates will be expected to participate in competency assessments related to the CIO position.
