Child Life Specialist
Our accredited Child Life Specialists join forces with nurses, music and art therapists, social workers and clinical professionals to normalize the health care environment for young patients. We provide age-appropriate activities and diversions at the bedside as well as within our state-of-the-art Child Life Centers.
To qualify, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in child life, child development or a related field, along with a minimum 480 child life internship hours. Candidates must have Child Life professional certification, or be eligible within one year of hire. Prior NICU experience highly preferred.
