Job Description: Our team is looking for an experienced GPGPU expert to architect and lead development of a set of high performance libraries designed to exploit our upcoming heterogeneous platforms.
Candidate must have a thorough understanding of CPUs, GPUs and the interaction between them. They must be able to architect, design and implement complex algorithms designed to run across a variety of platforms. As principal architect for our library, candidate would be expected to work with marketing teams, ISV relationship teams and most importantly other engineers and architects to ensure that our libraries are well targeted and well received by developers.
Candidates must be an expert C++/C programmer including experience with template libraries and strong debugging skills.
The candidate should be experienced in performance optimization on SIMD and multicore architectures, preferably with experience in algorithms such as parallel sorting and reductions. The candidate must have a strong understanding of parallel and SIMD algorithms and have experience in performance analysis and tuning.
GPGPU experience in CUDA and/or OpenCL is required. This is a senior position reporting to the Director
