Our client is seeking a Citrix/Server Applications Architect for Center-wide Citrix XenApp farm servers architecture and design. This individual is responsible for daily administration of all departmental and enterprise Citrix server farms. Conceptualize, plan, design server installations for complex clinical and office environment. Provide management with in-house, regional site and business partner consulting services regarding Citrix XenApp server and Enterprise Netscaler design and/or selection and implementation coordination , addressing multiple server integration issues.

The Citrix/Server Applications Architect provides expertise and timely support for troubleshooting complex server problems that involves Citrix XenApp Server troubleshooting with other server services and application components such as .NET, IIS, Active Directory, LDAP, AppSense , etc

Candidate will have BS/BA Degree (or equivalent experience), Engineering or Computer Science major preferred and 8-10 years hands-on experience in Microsoft Windows Server environment and System Administration of Citrix Servers. Experience with Citrix XenApp server administration in an Enterprise environment that uses physical and virtual infrastructure as well as external storage like EMC, IBM external storage arrays and similar. Experience in doing performance analysis using perfmon counters, EdgeSight data and AppSense Performance Manager data . Knowledge of powershell is a plus. Knowledge and at least 5 years of experience in Windows Clustering – all versions of currently supported Windows Server OS – 2003, 2003R2, 2008, 2008R2, 2012. Thorough understanding of Active Directory and DNS – minimum of 5 years experience in Active Directory based environment
