Area of Interest:
Performs a variety of engineering work in the initial planning and design phases of projects. Use creativity and objectivity to perform studies and technical activities to arrive at the most cost effective, reliable technical solution. May also provide limited support to construction phases of projects with engineering knowledge and experience. Performs other duties as required.
Perform detailed technical analysis of complex project issues.
Monitor applicable regulatory requirements and stays abreast of regulatory trends. Solve problems quickly. Ability to serve as technical manager on projects and small programs. Work activities include collection and interpretation of engineering data, development of project design basis, development of specifications, and performance of detailed engineering. Engineering Reports are often a work product. Ensures conformance to applicable engineering codes and standards as well as company policies and procedures.

Experience with STAAD analysis software is required. Knowledge of PCAMats, MATS 3D, Foundation 3D or other similar foundation analysis software is desirable. Knowledge of MathCAD is desirable. Typically has 7 to 25+ years experience. In-plant experience is preferred. Professional Licensure is required.
Heavy structural steel experience, foundation design, industrial type design.
