Office Assistant for IPrime. Computer skills must include MS Office, email, internet, and data entry. Excellent general office, organizational, detail-oriented skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and reliably.
Preferred: high degree of initiative, flexibility, minimal supervision required. Effective communication and interpersonal skills needed.
Assist IPrime administrative staff and directors supporting day-to-day operations. Primary function of this position is general office and special event support duties, with frequent special projects to be assigned. **Position must be able to work flexible schedule (within standard business hours/days). Unit requires steady support January-June for large events with more flexible, reduced hours July-Dec. as needed. General office operations include keyboarding, scheduling, office equipment, correspondence, and forms. Assist with event planning for workshops, annual meeting, short courses, and webcasts including coordinating meetings, arranging catering, and overall preparations. Event preparations include correspondence, tracking registration, tracking payments and likely involves an extra time commitment during the last week of May each year. Assist professor with miscellaneous duties as assigned. Some accounting includes reimbursements and doing spending justifications. Miscellaneous errands and assignments.
