Basic Function:
Follows existing procedures and methods. Types in final form letters, reports and statements. Performs routine duties that may include maintaining records and files, receiving visitors to the department and sorting and distributing incoming mail.


Plans layout of tables, set tabulations, and reviews format for style to be typed into computer space.


Compiles routine data from records and files to be included in typing requests.


Types reports, letters, application forms, memos, statistical tables, invoices, purchase orders, and other materials.


Receives, sorts, and distributes bank and/or departmental mail.


Files reports, letters, computer reports, and other materials according to established procedures.


Answers telephone and personal inquiries from bank customers and employees; routes calls to appropriate person or department.


Photocopies records, reports, and other materials as requested.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED


Proficient word processing/keyboard skills


Excellent communication skills with the ability to use tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers and visitors
