This is a non-exempt position responsible for accurately and effectively performing assigned duties for the Recording Division of the Enterprise Content Management Department while providing outstanding internal and external customer service with moderate supervision.

Essential Functions:

Continuing improvement toward efficiency in the following functions during a training period of one year to eighteen months:

  • Performs the Recording (Official Records) process for incoming documents using the software

  • Performs the Indexing (data entry) process for Official Records

  • Provides Customer Service in the Public Records Access area and Liaison with Historical Records Library

  • Performs quality control tasks for official record images

  • Develop a working knowledge of industry document types, Florida Statutes governing the recording of public records, and general knowledge of documentary stamps, intangible taxes and other information related to recording

  • Performs other related duties assigned and deemed necessary for the operation of the office and continuation of service

Typical Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED

  • Computer literacy including, but is not limited to, proficiency in a Microsoft Windows environment, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Good interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills to support and foster a positive team work environment
