The Client Account Executive (CAE) will work a defined geographic territory to build relationships within new & existing clients to become a trusted advisor within those accounts. The CAE will serve as a high end solution sales expert that can farm a product relationship while also having the fortitude to management the internal demands from each of the solution teams. The CAE will develop relationships that are high and wide across the accounts and be knowledgeable enough to position high level value proposition for the solutions to develop sales pipeline activity in those accounts. CAE will work in conjunction with the Solution Account Executive (SAE) when specific solution expertise is needed; the SAE will in turn be the resource to involve the pre-sales SMEs to the process. CAEs will work with the SAEs for pricing and proposals, negotiations, etc. When multiple products are involved at a client/prospect, the CAE will be the lead representative to combine the solutions where appropriate to build the total value proposition/ TCV and to simplify the clients view/engagement with Optum.

Sales territory is DC, MD, VA, WV, KY. Candidate can work from home - location preference is DC area, Baltimore or Annapolis MD, Richmond VA.

Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
5 years experience at a minimum of provider health care sales of Revenue Cycle and/or other provider healthcare software solutions.

Proven sales performance in achieving sales quotas.

Ability to work independently and manage a territory.

Experience working with large, highly matrixed organization preferred.
Previous experience selling to C-Suite Executives.

Consultative, solution sales experience.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
