Manages client requests related to benefit design adds and changes across all business units servicing many members. Independently manage and track all benefit design requests to ensure timelines are met including the proactive management of client specific performance guarantees. Manage all benefit design requests to ensure high quality results are consistently met for ESI clients and members thus mitigating financial and/or member disruption. Communicates clearly and professionally with both external and internal partners related to all aspects of benefit set up.
1.Manages client requests related to benefit design adds and changes across all business units servicing many members. This is accomplished by conducting a detailed analysis of every request, proactively consulting with both internal and external customers, and implementing the benefit design specifications to meet client and member needs.
2.Independently manages and tracks all benefit design requests to ensure timelines are met including the proactive management of client specific performance guarantees.
3.Manages all benefit design requests to ensure high quality results are consistently met for ESI clients and members thus mitigating financial and/or member disruption. This is accomplished through sound critical thinking skills and the consistent application of departmental processes such as verification and compass testing.
4.When errors are discovered the analyst will use solutions based approach to proactively determine root cause and to establish a broad scope prevention plan.
5.Communicates clearly and professionally with both external and internal partners related to all aspects of benefit set up including but not limited to the explanation of the benefit process, negotiation of benefit design effective dates, reasonable turnaround time expectations and potential risk to the client and/or ESI.
6.Engage in projects as a participant as needed and successfully meet all project requirements including timeliness and accuracy.
-4 year college degree preferred but not required
-Preferred experience in PBM and benefit set up knowledge
-Solid experience in leading other departments to solid resolution
-Strong PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
