We are looking for a dynamic and successful Account Executive to build relationships with C level executives and who understands needs based solution selling in a public accounting environment. This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor with an established firm and a growing sales team!

Key responsibilities:
Build, Nurture and Own relationships, from start to engagement, with client prospects to achieve the following

Discovery of specific prospect opportunities for Armanino services
Influence the prospect to welcome a bid opportunity from Armanino
Achieve and maintain “pole position” vendor status
Coordinate ad liaison meetings with Armanino SME’s
Aid in the negotiation of final contract

Create new opportunities from

Working your personal referral network , networking and membership in associations
Representing the firm at trade shows, seminars, and sponsorship events
Warm and cold calling

Identify top prospects in prioritized niche groups
Partner with marketing to create lead generation activities, including but not limited to industry pain points
Work with the marketing director and niche champions to create target client profiles, priority target lists, and a prospect database
Manage and report on suspect and prospect pipeline as well as activities to fill the pipeline
Manage the entire pursuit process with help from subject matter experts and marketing
Fully understand the firms products, services, industry expertise, and capabilities
Assist other partners with sales pursuits as necessary
Have a strong working knowledge of the professional services sales cycle and show demonstrated success in consultative and complex sales
Leverage the technical and sales skill sets of firm partners and involve them in the sales cycle when appropriate
Respond to and manage any unassigned incoming leads
Work toward a new business goal of at least $500,000/year

Key qualifications include:
A minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably in a professional services firm
Big 4, International, or National CPA/Consulting Firm experience highly desired
A strong personal network
Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, accounting, finance, business, or economics
Ability to get results through others and work with a wide variety of different personality types
Ability to work independently, be self-directed, proactive, results-oriented and have the desire to learn and take initiative
Highly organized account management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with technology, including Microsoft CRM and MS PowerPoint
Proven track record of developing and leveraging relationships with the middle-market
Ability to succeed in a high-performance, client and deadline driven environment
Demonstrated track record of goal attainment
Public accounting or consulting experience is a plus
