Department Marketing Statement

The Client Service Supervisor, Fund Accounting oversees the mutual fund accounting activities of several large, complex Exchange Traded Funds and/or a group of ETF funds. The position ensures the firm's clients receive accurate and timely data and serves as a point of escalation for complex client issues.


Field and respond to client inquiries and escalated issues and serve as the point person for senior level client contacts.

Coordinate and follow up on client meetings and deliverables.

Exhibit a sound understanding of BBH products and services.

Work closely with internal clients in Operations and Treasury and Markets to ensure timely resolution of client inquiries and improvement of service levels.

Serve as a key point of contact for external clients, including the AP community, with regard to daily servicing inquiries.

Develop key internal relationships to proactively aid in the resolution of ETF client and/or ETF Vendor issues.

Ensure the accurate and timely valuation of accounting records and reports through analysis and review of fund accounting activities.

Analyze validity of transactions for pricing impact to portfolio, escalating issues based on set tolerances.

Respond to internal and external audit requests promptly and accurately.

Ensure adherence to all established procedures and controls.

Utilize relevant internal technological solutions to effectively and efficiently manage client inquiries.

Identify ways to improve productivity and efficiency within the department.

Assist in the coordination of new business and product implementations and conversions.

Participate in the interview and selection process for job applicants, and assist new staff members in learning job specific tasks.

Conduct annual performance appraisals and provide regular feedback based on goals for direct reports.

Oversee the accurate calculation, creation, and timely dissemination of the Portfolio Composition File (PCF)

Validate the daily movement of Cash Components and review key ETF controls prior to release of the PCF


BS/BA degree (finance or accounting related concentration is preferred), and/or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of 3 to 5 years of Fund Accounting experience.

Prior experience working in a client servicing focused work environment.

Working knowledge of corporate actions, equity, fixed income, and derivative investments.

Ability to prioritize and quickly resolve client needs.

Ability to multitask, prioritize assignments and work quickly and accurately in a deadline oriented environment.

Ability to communicate effectively with both verbal and written skills.

Comprehensive working knowledge of Excel, Bloomberg and Reuters.

Technical proficiency in internal and/or web based systems a plus.

Strong analytical ability.
