Our Strategic Development team is growing and we are currently looking for a Client Services Manager to work closely with the National Advertising Sales Team to deliver superior advertising partnerships to our customers.
The Client Services Manager will provide exemplary customer service, optimal campaign management, and efficient project management in an effort to build and retain customer satisfaction. They are a liaison between our customers and our various internal teams including, but not limited to, Publishing, Development, Design, Editorial, Analytics, Ad Operations, IT, and, in some cases, company vendors .
Responsibilities:
serving as our customers’ main point of contact for campaign implementation, analytics, and general needs
acting as a campaign project manager to both internal teams and externally with customers
ensuring internal and external campaign kick-off meetings, with supporting documentation, are held in a timely manner
setting and managing expectations with internal teams and also with external clients
leading the effort to gather required campaign assets and deliver to appropriate internal teams in a timely manner
understanding, communicating, documenting, and ensuring we deliver upon all campaign requirements and any special needs as defined by each customer
gathering and delivering upon customer weekly reporting requirements, if any
stewarding the processing of new and revised insertion orders ensuring all relevant parties review and approve in a timely manner – also must ensure all relevant parties receive notification of finalized order
responsible for securing third party reporting logins
working closely with the Revenue and Ad Operations teams to monitor campaign performance, ensuring we are seeking ways to maximize revenue for the company, while also meeting client expectations
having a working knowledge of our ad product offerings
Ultimately, a Client Services Manager is tasked with proactively meeting and exceeding customer needs. They manage both ad display campaigns and customized/strategic campaigns (Programmatic Solutions). Client Services Managers also have the following technical responsibilities:
thorough and complete QA of [customized] programs prior to and during live campaigns
act as the first line of defense in troubleshooting any campaign issues
serve as liaison to 3rd party tag and rich media vendors, looping in other teams (Ad Operations, Technical Product Managers, etc.) as necessary
serve as the implementation lead for market research surveys
serve as the lead for vetting customized solutions and ensuring timely delivery of final products, in collaboration with Ad Products Manager, when appropriate
lead the efforts to efficiently navigate customer MLR requirements, as necessary
Experience and Skills:
Bachelor's degree with at least 2 - 4 years in digital advertising environment required
Strong customer service background preferred
Familiarity with basic publishing operations and ad operations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to prioritize workload and stay organized in a fast paced, high pressure environment with frequent interruptions
Basic understanding of digital media math (i.e. CPM calculations)
Display a generally positive, can-do attitude
Must be extremely detailed oriented
