Job Duties: -Development of UT Medicine SA helpdesk personnel and Epic training staff with a primary focus on end-user education and customer support for the Epic program. -Lead the development and implementation of UT Medicine SA policies and procedures that ensure accuracy, integrity, confidentiality and security of data. Conducts education sessions where appropriate to teach users how to correct and/or prevent errors. -Development and guidance of UT Medicine SA helpdesk personnel capable of providing tier-one support for problems relating to the Epic system through procedural, technical, Epic-related, and soft skills training. -Monitor performance of UT Medicine helpdesk staff, coach for improvement, and provide feedback to team members. -Maintains current knowledge, trends, technology of Epic application software, data bases and interfaces through continuing education via classes and user meetings, professional organizations, interaction with users and effective networking. -Lead efforts to provide accurate and regular communications to the user community about Epic related issues and plans. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Associate's degree from an accredited university, college, or equivalent, with 5 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
