Valid New Jersey Driver License and in good standing with the DMV. Obtain commercial drivers license (CDL).Obtain certification in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention from the Crisis Prevention Institute, Inc.(CPI)provided by CHOP Staff. High school diploma with prior work experience in a halt setting and computerized data entry, patient registration, and purchasing supplies is strongly preferred. Individuals must have the ability to prioritize, manage and complete requests from multiple personnel. Experience with children with special health care needs is desirable.
All CHOP employees who work in a patient building or who provide patient care are required to receive an annual influenza vaccine unless they are granted a medical or religious exemption.

The clinic Coordinator/Clinical Assistant position is ideal for the individual looking to perform clerical responsibilities while also assuming responsibilities for interacting with patients in a team-oriented children's psychiatric day hospital environment. Clerical duties include: the maintenance of patients' electronically based information and medical records, computer data entry and record keeping and purchasing program supplies. In addition, the successful candidate will assist other members of the treatment team in order to provide a patient care environment that is supportive and safe for children with severe emotional and behavioral disorders.
