Position Summary:

Pediatric clinician/researcher with both clinical and laboratory investigation interests in glomerulonephritis and vasculitis for a fixed-term track position. Candidates should have additional clinical expertise in glomerulonephritis in both adults and children. Successful candidates will have laboratory experience in immunology and autoimmunity. Responsibilities will include both clinical and laboratory research, inpatient and outpatient clinical care, glomerulonephritis clinic, and fellow/resident/student teaching.

Education Requirements:

M.D., BC/BE in Pediatric Nephrology

Qualification and Experience:

Candidate should be able to work independently in a laboratory setting and oversee students. Laboratory experience should include techniques in immunology and protein chemistry. Prior experience in consenting patients, sample processing, and longitudinal patient chart review necessary. Must be competent in all areas of clinical pediatric nephrology care, including peritoneal and hemodialysis, transplant, and plasmapheresis. Additional clinical experience in a glomerulonephritis clinic is required.
