Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor of Health Policy and Administration
UIC School of Public Health. Chicago, IL

This is a full time graduate faculty position in the School of Public Health and reports to the Director of the Division of Health Policy and Administration.

Duties:
Teaching responsibilities include courses such as basic and advanced courses designed for the MPH comprehensive and professional enhancement programs . Course development in areas such as public health management and public health policy analysis are also included. The position will participate in the Master of Public Health program in the Division which includes admissions, curriculum development, strategic planning, and quality assurance functions. Advising students and participating in Division, School of Public Health, and UIC committee activities is also included.

Qualifications:
Applicants must have a minimum of three years of teaching at the graduate level in courses related to public health management and policy. Management and health policy experience in public health practice are equally desirable. Knowledge of public health practice, urban and state health policy issues, and community health is required. Interpersonal and inter-group skills are required along with a high level of cultural competence.
