Serve as a Clinical Electronic Health Record (EHR) subject matter expert for the provision of any single or combination of clinical application software modules supporting an Epic business process optimization assessment/EMR implementation implementation for clients as assigned. EHR clinical application software modules include but are not limited to: Clinical Documentation-Nursing, Order Management and Computerized Physician Order Entry, Operating Room/Anthesia, Lab, Radiology and clinical ancillary services.
Responsible for working collaboratively with an EHR project manager and other Anthelio Consultants for the delivery of business process optimization/EMR implementation services at the client engagement level.
Duties and Responsibilities:
q Assigned to and works with the EHR business process optimization/implementation team (domestic and global) to articulate business requirements related to client projects.
q Is fully compliant in the use of Anthelio’s “end-to-end” and “Best Practices” documented framework for EHR business process optimization/implementation initiatives, abides by all defined processes, activities and goals to maintain the repeatability, leveragability and reference-ability for EHR related services.
q Identify opportunities, performance measurement methodologies and reporting tools necessary to improve business processes resulting in improved efficiencies and/or quality in healthcare and delivery of services to our clients.
q Act as a liaison between client operations, client information services staff, and Anthelio EHR practice service teams to ensure systems meet the functional specifications as defined by operations.
q Acts as a liaison between client(s) and vendor(s) related to system functionality specifications
q Supports and/or leads EHR departmental and interoperability business process optimization activities as assigned for client sites.
q Maintains current knowledge of applicable federal and state EMR/EHR related laws and accreditation standards; monitors and communicates changes to ensure customer adaptation and compliance.
q Documents and maintains a knowledge base of EHR products implemented at client sites and mentors team members on product functionality, updates, service packs, etc.
q Serves as a Core Clinical Subject Matter Expert in the delivery of services as defined within the client specific Statement of Work and associated Project Governance related to business process optimization requirements in preparation for an EMR implementation
q Provides input and ongoing support for updating Anthelio’s EHR Business Process Optimization Proprietary Tools and Process Guides such as system process flows, readiness assessments, workflow books and remediation plans for insuring optimal services delivery to all Anthelio EHR clients.
q Assists in the mentoring of client business process optimization team.
q Has a working knowledge of Anthelio’s EHR business process optimization project management methodology .
q Works collaboratively with all Anthelio Solutions EHR business process optimization team members to achieve high customer satisfaction levels for services delivered.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
q Travel required.
q May be required to be on-call or work off-shifts.
q Performs other duties as necessary to meet department and company objectives.
Education, Experience & Licensure:
q Associate or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent healthcare and/or technical certification/licensing required. Professional certifications, as applicable are highly desired.
q 3-5 years of practical experience in acute care nursing services is preferred.
q 2+ years experience in IT/EHR system related implementations and/or application support in a healthcare environment required, hospital experience preferred.
Preferred: Epic Certification in inpatient clinical modules
Preferred: Demonstrated business process optimization experience
Preferred: EHR Implementation experience

q Intermediate to expert level skill in use of standard Microsoft Office products such as Word, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint.
q Ability to travel (up to 85% of the time) as required by client engagements and as otherwise defined by the Anthelio’s Solutions EHR business process optimization management team.
