The Clinical Coordinator is a registered nurse who serves as facilitator, coordinator, teacher, problem solver and role model. The Clinical Coordinator works collaboratively with the Directors of Patient Care Services and clinical directors in directing nursing personnel to ensure delivery of quality patient care.

QUALIFICATIONS: Current license to practice as a registered nurse in North Carolina; Familiarity with current trends/issues pertinent to hospital patient care practices; Demonstrates clinical competence in at least one area of nursing specialty; Minimum of two years experience such as Charge Nurse, Supervisor or Clinical Director; Participation in continuing education programs; BLS Healthcare Provider certification (CPR); ACLS certification or completion of ACLS within six months.
