Reporting to the Principal Investigator and Research Manager, the Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for the implementation of the respiratory therapy portion of research studies relating to advanced lung diseases and lung transplantation. The clinical coordinator will be responsible for adhering to the study protocols, coordinating research visits with the study subjects, hospital staff, research coordinators and study sponsors. He or she will also be responsible for completing case report forms, monitoring study participants according to protocol, entering data into an online database, and providing research and administrative support for projects. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications for Grade Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant
Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus three years of related experience. NYS Respiratory Therapist License or Certified Respiratory Therapist, plus AAS in Respiratory Therapy or certificate of completion of an AMA approved RT Program.

Excellent technical, organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as oral and written communication skills are a must. The candidate must be detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks and to interact well with a project team in an academic setting.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
