Develops and presents educational programs that increase or reinforce knowledge and critical thinking in respiratory care. Develops programs and learning methods for staff in the use of new equipment, reviews current modalities. Coordinates the orientation of new staff. Provides guidance for staff members involved as mentors and evaluates general effectiveness of orientation program. Coordinates student related activities, pairs student needs with staff for shadowing and training. Works to support positive student experiences. Supports manager in development of quality improvement activities.
Performs all duties of a Registered Respiratory Therapist. Analyzes development and educational needs. Develops, implements, leads and maintains on-going educational programs for the department and house-wide. Implements and maintains quality improvement activities. Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree - Respiratory Therapy Experience
2-5 years Supervisor Experience
< 2 years Licenses & Certifications
