Under general supervision the incumbents role is to support CareConnect optimization. The role consists of three primary components. The first component is to provide CareConnect training to hospital staff and physicians. This role
will provide training for implementation, ongoing support for orientation of new hires within the hospital, and training for software enhancements and upgrades. The incumbent will maintain frequent contact with staff to identify needs for
education and training as well as identify patterns that indicate more global issues or needs. The second component of the job will assist with monitoring the usability of computer applications on each unit, in coordination with the NSSA
Clinical Informaticist's and Clinical Informatics RNs. This role will assist the managers and staff as a liaison to identify application defects, change requests, and system enhancement requests. The third component of the role is flexible
based on the needs of CareConnect implementation. Some of these needs will include providing education pertaining to CareConnect changes and updates, improving communication with the units, and participation, as assigned in
CareConnect summits.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
BS or BSN necessary, Masters preferred
3 yrs experience in a hospital or clinic setting, working with physicians & staff involved in patient care.
Must be knowledgeable of new trends in clinical management & information systems, and be able to apply data processing technology for the clinical & physician service areas.
Must have thorough knowledge of Nursing or other clinical areas of practice and principles.
Ability to operate a variety of office equipment including computers, workstations on wheels, copiers, fax machines, etc.
