This position will provide technical acumen and leadership to the EpicCare 'build' team, handling difficult assignments and coaching more junior builders to improve their skills and abilities.
Utilize your strong EpicCare skills to build new clinic systems, update/improve existing clinic systems, and to design new methods or work flows that will improve clinical safety and effectiveness.
Utilize your other, special EpicCare skills to improve the overall safety and effectiveness of clinic systems effectiveness and the effectiveness and capacity of the EpicCare team, for example: manage Security settings and accounts creation, manage trouble tickets and enhancement requests, provide elbow-to-elbow support to physicians and clinicians during a Go Live or demonstrations to clinic users.
Troubleshoot problems with existing clinic builds, new clinic builds, and assist other teammates with their troubleshooting tasks.
Lead implementation of new EpicCare features and capabilities during upgrades and updates to the system. Read release notes and other systems documentation to identify and recommend improvements to the overall system.
Stay abreast of changes in EpicCare capabilities, usage of Epic/EpicCare at other institutions, and serve as key point of contact with Epic Technical Support (TS) personnel.
Bachelor's degree with four years of related experience.
Should be well versed in industry rules and regulations. Clinical experience a plus (MA, LVN, RN, NP, PA, etc.).
