Faculty Position

Department: Radiology, Division of Breast Imaging
Campus: Stony Brook West Campus/HSC

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Required Qualifications: M.D. degree or equivalent. License in New York State. Board Certified/Board Eligible in DX Radiology. Training in DX/Breast Imaging Radiology. Completion of a U.S. Accredited Internship and Residency Program.
Preferred Qualifications: Some teaching experience. PACS proficiency. Publications. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability, interest/experience in research.

Responsibilities & Requirements: Under direct supervision of Attendings, the Clinical Instructor will provide Clinical/Diagnostic readings, Diagnostic and Screening mammography MRI/Breast US images Interpretations, perform image guided biopsy (Stereotactic Ultrasound and MRI) and needle localization.

Special Notes: This is a non-tenure track, junior faculty training position. This position will be a one-year temporary appointment for the 2013/2014 academic year, commencing July 1, 2013. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously.
