CLINICAL STAFF PHARMACIST/CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR, AMBULATORY CARE PHARMACY SERVICES
Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Services, a unit of the Department of Pharmacy Practice in the UIC College of Pharmacy seeks a Clinical Staff Pharmacist/Clinical Instructor to join our team.

Duties:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care (distribution and clinical) to oncology patients seen at the University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences on-site outpatient oncology clinic and oncology clinic pharmacy. Responsibilities also include supervising the preparation of intravenous and oral anti-cancer therapies; pharmacy staff development; and coordinating and conducting quality initiatives.

We are looking for a motivated compassionate individual who is a team player, possesses strong verbal and written communication skills; demonstrates flexibility and ability to work independently and adapt to a changing work environment; excellent time management and organizational skills, and is committed to excellent patient care. Experience in oncology and infusion therapy practice is highly desired.

Qualifications:
Candidates must possess knowledge and skills such that they qualify for a non-tenure faculty position with the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the UIC College of Pharmacy, level is commensurate with experience. Academic responsibilities include precepting entry level Doctor of Pharmacy students.
Candidates must be licensed or eligible for Illinois licensure as a professional pharmacist.
Must be a graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy. Preference will be given to candidates having completed residency training; an emphasis in oncology is preferred.
