Ascension Health Information Services (AHIS), located at Sacred Heart Health Systems in Pensacola, FL, is seeking to hire an experienced Senior Clinical Systems Analyst to implement applications that facilitate new levels of quality for the clinical areas, as well as support and maintenance of the clinical applications, translating clinical requirements into information systems to support the business needs of specific patient care departments.

This Senior Clinical Analyst:
Works directly with customers to provide support for Applications, including but not limited to system design changes, department consulting, researching, resolving problems, unexpected results, reviews, tests, or process flaws.
Documents build and testing results; ensures standards are followed.
Successfully troubleshoots most application problems independently.
Recommends solutions or alternative methods to meet requirements, acting as a liaison between AHIS, clinical areas, and other third parties.
Shares on-call with the ministry IS Team .
Maintains a high level of interaction with clinical areas to continually enhance/improve patient care.
Acts as a resource, consultant, adviser to nursing, physicians, and others in areas of responsibility, building productive networks with internal and external customers.
Works with clinical end users and their managers to analyze work process design and flow, improve processes and leverage the return on technological capabilities.
Develops user procedures, guidelines and documentation.
Trains associates on new processes/functionality.
Evaluates effectiveness of documentation and training.
Demonstrates cooperation as well as voluntary assistance and teamwork.
Responds promptly to customers; identifies and offers appropriate solutions to problems, and follows up with clear communication.
Assists with ensuring data integrity, testing system changes, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. Qualifications:
Required Qualifications :
4 or more years of relevant IT systems experience; to include previous project management and system implementation
Previous experience implementing or supporting a CLINICAL system
General knowledge of hospital operations, patient management, the interrelationship of systems and how technology enables business processes
Knowledge of current clinical issues and trends as related to clinical information systems.
Must possess the ability to work collaboratively and independently to implement projects/applications with a minimum of direction from others.
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate with all levels of management, other analysts, and users within the organization.
Ability to fulfill the requirements of On Call rotations
Willingness to reside within a commutable distance of Pensacola, FL Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor degree preferred; advanced degree desirable
RN License is strongly preferred
McKesson software experience is a plus
