The Social Worker/Clinician is responsible for:
- Case management, individual coaching, group, and family treatment to adults seeking freedom from eating disorders, including restricting, binging behaviors and night eating;
- Evaluating and treating eating disorders and co-morbid mood disorders;
- CBT/DBT interventions to help clients make significant behavioral and psychological changes to improve self care and reduce symptoms;
- Participating in a multidisciplinary treatment team, in a small group setting.
Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience providing direct clinical care in a mental health setting. Inpatient, partial hospital, residential or crisis team experience preferred. Strong clinical skills in the mental health field with the ability to collaborative effectively across multiple disciplines. Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written, as well as strong organizational and interpersonal skills while demonstrating a high level of energy, enthusiasm and engagement. Proven ability to multitask and function well in a fast paced mental health environment.
