Conduct intake interviews and assess client.
  • Prepare goal-oriented psycholosocial diagnostic assessments, service plans and progress reports.
  • Provide case consultations, one-to-one counseling for clients, and/or crisis intervention.
  • Maintain therapeutic services within the BCFS and funding source guidelines.
  • Attend training, workshops and meetings upon request.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all areas of client and program operations.
  • Maintain professional and ethical standards as presribed by BCFS Program and the professional profession.
  • Role model a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Comply with the agency and program policy and procedure manual.
  • Comply with minimum standards, ORR and contract standards as it relates to service provision.
  • Comply with all Licensing Standards as well as funding source guidelines.
  • Obtaining professional certifications.
  • Conduct and coordinate client assessments.
  • Facilitate client reviews and intakes and therapeutic plans with the treatment team upon initial entry.
  • Interview and complete preliminary service plan for each assigned client within 72 business hours.
  • Spearhead the service plan process for ICS foster care program.
  • Interview and assess clients within ten (10) days and complete Intake Assessment and Psychosocial Evaluation.
  • Develop short-term therapeutic plans for clients.
  • Participate in weekly scheduled staffings with the treatment team to review clients’ progress and compliance.
  • Provide written assessments to the treatment team within ten (10) days.
  • Review client files to ensure proper documentation of therapeutic plan/services.
  • Conduct counseling sessions with clients.
  • Provide clinical services to assigned clients.
  • Ensure consistent client contact as specified by BCFS and contract guidelines.
  • Document and submit progress reports/notes and assessments in a timely manner.
  • Provide one-to-one and crisis intervention to client for conflict situations.
  • Maintain twenty-four (24) hour availability weekdays and on-call status for rotating weekends or as needed.
  • Maintain communication with lead case managers on a consistent basis.
  • Develop and implement client tracking and status reports for monthly review/audit of clinical department.
  • Document and maintain weekly contact schedule for each client.
  • Facilitate in conflict resolution and case assistance staffing with clinical/treatment staff.
  • Provide feedback and review therapeutic services.
  • Assess treatment plan format and implementation.
  • Provide data to support staff on admission/discharge of clients in order for them to maintain the permanent BCFS Census.
  • Prepare and maintain department reports as assigned.
  • Provide direct care services as milieu personnel when requested.
  • Monitor and assist caseworkers and case aides in client supervision and milieu activities.
  • Participate in or facilitate primary therapeutic/psycho educational groups or activities.
  • Document and submit progress notes, reports and assessments in a timely manner.
  • Provide clinical trainings to foster parents and staff personally, or via designee.
  • Participate in all staffing meetings, trainings, etc., as necessary to fulfill the functions of the position.
