The Collaboration Cloud Solution Architect will have responsibility for supporting our largest and most strategic Sales opportunities, assisting and enabling our internal delivery teams, helping to enable our broad partner network of Global and Regional Systems Integrators lending his/her expertise to the delivery of world class enterprise Collaboration Cloud solutions and building the necessary relationships both internally and externally in order to become recognized as a world class Collaboration Cloud Expert. They will have responsibility for creating/sharing/collaborating on materials to support sales and delivery, a deep understanding of other competitive offerings and insight as to where the market is headed across all aspects of enterprise Collaboration solutions. They will have responsibility for supporting our internal delivery teams and our key partners as they continue to evolve their own Collaboration / Social Business practices.
Delivering presentations to a wide range of internal, customer and partner audiences from C-level executives to end users on the key Collaboration Cloud and Social Enterprise messages.
Actively working with the product management and marketing teams to help ensure adoption of the latest technologies brought to the market
Providing thought leadership to Sales, Delivery and Partner teams in the Collaboration Cloud to deliver Customer success. Working on cross-function teams to drive sales, adoption and enablement activities within Salesforce and the Partner community.
Developing assets (tools, methodologies, presentations, blogs, etc.) that can be leveraged during the pre-sales and post-sales processes by our selling and consulting partners.
Providing expertise to help Account Teams as they craft and deliver a compelling Collaboration and Social Enterprise vision, through presentations, demonstrations, pilots and POCs.
Act as a trusted advisor to Customers helping them define and execute their Collaboration strategy.
Developing, authoring and contributing to external facing blogs and media to help further the Collaboration Cloud.
Develop and assist our Alliances in contributing to world class delivery partners in the Collaboration Cloud
10+ years relevant work experience with 5+ years experience in consulting.
Experience in serving a strategic technical sales team.
Experience building/designing/managing Collaboration / internal Community / Social Media programmes

Knowledge of enterprise systems and how they can relate to Customer Collaboration / Social Media programmes
Deep knowledge of key Collaboration components including unified messaging, unified communication architecture, communication enabled business processes, enterprise mobility, blogging, micro-blogging, chat, presence and integrated solutions. Provide leadership in transforming deeply technical subject matter into strategic, tangible business value for our customers
Proven ability to design and optimize business processes and to integrate business processes across disparate systems.
Willingness to travel internationally.

Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Work experience with a professional consulting organization (e.g., Big 5 consulting) a plus.
Experience designing Collaboration, Social Media, Unified Messaging / Communication solutions closely aligned with business processes.
Experience with the Salesforce.com, other SaaS based technologies, Collaboration / Social Media technologies.
B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent work experience.
