ADTRAN, Inc. is looking for the best and brightest students to join one of the most successful telecommunications companies in the world. ADTRAN is a leading global provider of networking/communications equipment and solutions headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama. Our portfolio consists of intelligent solutions deployed by some of the world's largest internet and telephone service providers, distributed enterprises, and small and medium-sized businesses.
ADTRAN solutions enable voice, data, video and internet communications across copper, fiber, and wireless network infrastructures. ADTRAN co-ops contribute significantly to the company’s success. They’re given real-time projects and much responsibility, working alongside the world’s brightest engineers and professional staff.
Our students typically begin in a role where they are testing or troubleshooting ADTRAN products and rotate into design engineering groups in either their second or third work terms. Sometimes, students may begin their work term in a design or development role. Several ADTRAN co-ops are also exposed to the agile methodology. While working, students receive competitive pay, free rent, paid vacation time, paid sick time, holiday pay, and mileage reimbursement each semester and tuition assistance if they choose to take one course during each work term.
Responsibilities as an ADTRAN co-op could include, but are not limited to: software development, agile development, testing, compliance, technical support, hardware design, research and development, continual training and education.
