We are looking for a highly motivated individual interested in joining our USB Application Engineering team through our summer co-op program. As a member of the Applications team you will be doing one or more of the following projects:
Conduct detailed thermal experiments to support advanced battery charger architectures. You will be responsible for the design of the experiments, creating the evaluation board, operating a state of the art thermal camera and presenting a detailed analysis of thermal data.
Create an automated test platform, including writing the software to program/control its functionality, to help collect data which increases the efficiency of customer response times. Candidates will need to draw on expertise with microcontroller programming, visual basic programming and hardware design principles.
Take initiative to troubleshoot and solve problems using available technical resources, creativity, attention to detail, and collaboration with team members.
Participate in multidisciplinary and multinational engineering teams to learn about various phases of new product definition while experiencing the excitement of a fast-paced technical environment.
